Branding & Identity
The goal of this project was to provide Aftershave Barbershop with an updated logo that would capture the essence of the business and stand the test of time. I was requested to include symbolic barbershop elements into the design.
In order to deliver a timeless design I opted to go for a strong typographical emphasis, using Akzidenz-Grotesk BQ as a foundation. I came up with a few different layout treatments for the typographic and blade imagery and presented the client with some options.
In the end we merged some ideas and settled on a balanced design that we were both proud of.
